The applicant has applied for an appeal to allow the bonding for an in-ground pool to remain as installed. This item was tabled in August to allow the applicant to find an electrician and a solution for the pool bonding. Tami Fout faxed a letter on September 24, 2007, from DeJay Baker, Project Manager with Garber Electrical Contractors. Mr. Bob Wehrley, electrical inspector, stated the information provided by Garber was fine but does not address the problem. It is unknown if the rebar was placed in the concrete deck and clamped as it was not reinspected. Some of the rebar on-site, at the initial inspection, was epoxy coated and some was not. For bonding purposes, all of the rebar has to be coated otherwise none of it is considered coated. The Fout’s have been asked to contact the concrete contractor and have him call the inspection office to schedule a special meeting. At this special meeting he can explain to the Board what was done.
Mrs. Clayton made the motion to retable AB-07-07 until the special meeting can be scheduled. Mr. Jordan seconded the motion and passed as follows:
Ayes: Jordan, Hicks, Clayton, Kline (4)
