MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE EATON PLANNING, ZONING AND BUILDING APPEALS BOARD HELD IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING AT
7:30 P.M., MONDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2004
A regular meeting of the Eaton Planning, Zoning and Building Appeals Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m., Monday, October 25, 2004. The Secretary called the roll and reported the following:
Present: Bob Stonecash
Tom Jordan
Brenda Conley
Nancy Clayton
Tom Kline
Absent: None
Building Inspector Bob Wehrley, Law Director Donnette Fisher and City Manager Dave Daily were also present.
Minutes
Minutes were accepted for the meeting held on August 30, 2004.
Mrs. Clayton made the motion to accept the minutes as written. Mr. Jordan seconded the motion and passed as follows:
Ayes: Stonecash, Jordan, Conley, Clayton, Kline (5)
Nays: None
Oath was not administered because there was no one in the audience.
AB-04-14 - Dye - Conditional Use
The applicant has applied for a conditional use permit to put an apartment above the office/retail use at the building located at 111 South Barron Street, zoned C-4. This building was the former MRDD offices, with office space on both floors. Prior to 1970, the second floor had been an apartment. Upper floor dwelling units are permitted in the C-4 district. The single upper floor unit has direct access to grade, off-street parking is not required in the district, the Board has approved other upper residential dwelling units in the district.
Mr. Stonecash made the motion for favorable approval of AB-04-14, because it meets all the general requirements. Mr. Jordan seconded the motion and passed as follows:
Ayes: Stonecash, Jordan, Conley, Clayton, Kline (5)
Nays: None
Old business
Executor of the estate for 828 East Somers Street has been located and correspondence has begun. Also, POD container on East Lexington Road will be sent another letter as a reminder to owner to remove ASAP.
New business
Nothing to discuss.
With unanimous approval the meeting was dismissed.
